Ian Mackenzie
Managing Director
Ian has a bachelors degree in chemistry and a doctorate in physics. His early engineering and software work included design of one of the first commercial spectral attenuation systems. Ian co-founded the PerkinElmer Fiber Optics Group in 1985 and led the management buy out of the Group from PerkinElmer in 2005.
Adrian Evans
Operations Director
Adrian has more than 20 years experience in high technology instrumentation and 15 years in worldwide field service. Adrian was Customer Support Manager for the Fiber Optics Group of PerkinElmer for 10 years and had experience as operations manager manufacturing high technology products for export worldwide.
David Williams
Engineering and IT Director
David has worked in electronics and software engineering and development for 30 years. He has been with the Company since 1986 when he wrote the software for the Fiber Optics Group first product, the CD3 Chromatic Dispersion System. Since that time he has designed most of the software for the company and progressed to become R&D manager of the Group.
Andy Nicholas
Sales Director
Andy has more
than 30 years experience in high technology, with the last 25 years
being in the field of Fiber optic testing instrumentation. Andy
served in the capacities of field service engineer, development
engineer and application engineer before moving into sales in 1992.
Andy now sells and manages sales of fiber test instruments both
directly and through distributors worldwide.
